The city is humankind’s most complex and extraordinary creation. It can be understood as a living organism. By their nature, living organisms can die when mistreated… At the same time, a city that is full of life is capable of endlessly adapting, flourishing in different circumstances, and with different inhabitants.Deyan Sudjic, “The Language of Cities”
My name is Ira Golenkova Ferrero, and I am a passionate urban fine art photographer across Europe (though, born in Siberia) with deep interest in environmental issues. Urban fine art photography has fascinated me since 2008, quickly growing from hobby into profession. Architecture and daily life of culturally diverse European metropolis are of my particular interest. My major exhibition projects so far have been devoted to Moscow, Berlin, and Barcelona, where I have lived and worked so far.
